A lot of work has begun for this final push after reviewing all the wonderful QA information that the team was able to get from local high schools and internal playtests! We've poured over a lot of the data, both quantitative and qualitative to find what parts of the game were and weren't working with out audience. Thankfully the aspects of the game that seemed to be struggling the most partially the UI for things like the level select, and the visual 'juice' and readability of the rhythm gameplay; were already aspects that we were actively working on! The visual effects during gameplay, art assets for cutscenes and gameplay, and the musical components are all shaping up at steady and predicable rates! As it stands currently however a lot more effort went into making the VFX more enjoyable than originally planned. Meaning that for the sake of scope (and for avoiding catastrophic burnout) we will most likely be cutting back a few levels to focus on quality rather than quantity! Aside from that the final production/admin related tasks are currently also being worked on! We hope this update post was informative and helpful and we hope that you enjoy the game!
